Amaca Petit Hotel sits in the heart of the Zona Romantica, well connected to both the airport and the bus terminal. Here are your options depending on your budget and luggage.

Like much of the Zona Romantica, Amaca Petit is on an uphill street. With a taxi or Uber there is no problem: they drop you right at the door. But if you come by city bus, the closest stop is about a 10 minute walk away, and that final stretch is uphill.
That's why we only recommend the bus if:

Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport is north of the city. Here are your three options to reach the Zona Romantica:
$120 – $230 MXN approx.
Cross the pedestrian bridge. Uber cannot pick you up inside the airport: exit the terminal, cross the pedestrian bridge (about 3 min), and request your ride there.
25 to 35 min ride.
The best value option with door to door comfort. In high season, the fare can go up.
$420 – $620 MXN approx.
No walking. You buy the ticket at the official booth (SETAVI) inside the arrivals hall, with a fixed rate per zone.

Ideal if you arrive at night, with lots of luggage, or want the simplest option. Pay only at the official booth, never to vendors at the exit.
$13 MXN approx.
Cross the pedestrian bridge toward the avenue and take a bus marked "Centro", "Zona Romantica" or routes like C24 or T01.
They run every 10 min or so · 35 to 45 min ride.
Cash only in pesos, bring small bills. It drops you about 10 min from the hotel and the final stretch is uphill.
As you leave customs you will be offered transportation. Buy only at the official booths (look for the blue and white SETAVI signage) or cross the pedestrian bridge for your Uber. Avoid informal vendors offering inflated "voucher" deals.
If you arrive on a long distance bus, the Central Terminal is near the airport, north of the city. Here are your options:
$120 – $220 MXN approx.
Request it from the terminal or after a short walk toward the avenue. Comfortable and economical.
20 to 30 min ride.
Door to door, with transparent pricing in the app.
$150 – $250 MXN approx.
Taxis available right outside the terminal.

Agree on the fare before getting in. They don't use a meter, but fixed rates per zone.

Take a bus toward "Centro" or "Zona Romantica" along the main avenue.

Cash only in pesos. It drops you about 10 min away and you have to walk uphill to the hotel.
Once you reach the neighborhood, almost everything is within walking distance: the beach, the restaurants, the Malecon and, of course, Amaca. Many guests never use transportation again during their stay.
